LIPA art collection

Some works of mine are in the LIPA art collection. The collection was on show at RuimteCaesuur from 26/2 till 22/4 2022 and is on show at Luxfer open space from 19.8 till 15.10.2022.

MULTIPLE

Zondag, 30 januari presenteede ik deze nieuwe multiple. Kistje met drie replica’s van stenen, keramiek, papier, en gips. Oplage 12 exemplaren, voor de speciale introductieprijs van 100 euro. Er zijn nog een aantal exemplaren beschikbaar.

The video “This is Giel Louws” is a poetic view on the ideas behind my work. It shows the back of my head staring in to the distance, which is a reference to the movie ‘The Mirror” by Tarkovsky. In the video I immerse myself in the ideas that are the basis of my work as an artist. It is an attempt to show something of the intimacy of the idea of the artist’s studio.

It was shown on the windows of Ruimte Caesuur Middelburg between December 11th and Jan 15th 2021 / 22 amongst other artists movies
